Voices From Voluntary Assisted Dying
Voices From Voluntary Assisted Dying aims to share stories from the family members of loved ones who have accessed Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD) in South Australia. VAD is a legal end-of-life process through which eligible people dying from a progressive terminal illness may legally choose the manner and timing of their death. It enables eligible people to voluntarily access and self-administer - or in some cases have a doctor administer - a medication that will end their life.
This sensitive podcast is hosted by Dr Laureen Lawlor-Smith who interviews to educate people on how the process has been utilised.
Dr Lawlor-Smith uses a Rode podcast microphone and records remotely with online recording software Riverside.
