Australian Association of Social Workers is the professional representative body of social workers in Australia, with 16,000+ members.

In 2020, AASW approached Chris Ashmore Media to help produce its new podcast, Social Work People. The Association understands the importance of engaging with its members through a variety of channels, and recognised the unique benefits podcasting brings to keep members informed and involved with the work it’s doing.

The podcast is hosted by AASW’s Angela Scarfe, who conducts interviews on her own with a high-quality microphone, quiet room and utilises Squadcast, a high-quality online recording platform.

She sends the raw recordings along with edit notes to Chris Ashmore Media, which assembles and uploads each episode on to the podcast hosting platform.
